Incident: "Van driver decides to undertake on a junction. He then makes out that I was in the wrong. Quite proud I didn't swear! Normally I am not as polite."

The cyclist may have gained something by being further to the left, so as to make it that much harder to undertake. If you position yourself too far to the right then yes, cars will turn over you.
That’s crazy – and I cant understand his reasoning.
Anyone else tell what he is saying?
I watched this at work without sound, and to be honest, I don’t really want to know what the chap is saying and what his reasoning is as it will just make me angry.
@Bristol Traffic, Yeh I thought about that. At the time I took the position thinking left turning traffic wouldn’t get irate at cyclist ‘blocking’ their progress. Lesson learnt though, claim your lane!
The prat shouldn’t have done it. Had you been a motorbike, there is no way on earth he would have tried it – or had you been a copper – or had you been another car.
Its just the “its only a cyclist” mentality.

Not in their defence.
But I have seen cyclists (and cars) pull some crazy shit around the police.
Some people are just that stupid.
Though, maybe, because in each case I can think about the Police did NOTHING – they know they can do what they want?
I cycled past a police van that was blocking a cycle lane today whilst waiting in a double line of traffic on a road that only has one lane – I nearly cracked my head on his wing mirror.
He didn’t appreciate the dirty look he got as I went past.
Shame I didn’t have my camera on
